Хто мені дасть останнє поселення в пустелі, і залишу мій народ, і відійду від них? Адже всі вони перелюбники, збір невірних!
Вони натягнули свій язик, як лук, омана і невір’я укріпилося на землі, бо зі зла вийшли до зла, а Мене не пізнали.
Нехай кожний стережеться свого ближнього, і не надійтеся на своїх братів, бо кожний брат безперечно обманюватиме [1] , і кожний друг ходитиме підступно!

Хто людина мудра, то нехай це зрозуміє, і в кого є слово, яке прийшло до нього з Господніх уст, то нехай вам сповістить! Внаслідок чого знищена земля, спалена, як пустеля, що нею не пройти?

І Господь промовив до мене: Тому, що вони залишили Мій закон, який Я дав у їхній присутності, і не послухалися Мого голосу,
