East Gate Assigned to the Prince
And he brought me back toward the outer gate of the sanctuary which looked toward the east; and it was shut.

І Господь сказав мені: Ця брама буде замкненою, не відкриється, і ніхто нею не пройде, бо нею ввійде Господь, Бог Ізраїля, тож вона буде замкненою!
And Jehovah said unto me, This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter in by it: for Jehovah, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it; and it shall be shut.
Тому що володар, він сяде в ній їсти хліб перед Господом. Дорогою еламу брами ввійде і його дорогою вийде.
As for the prince, he, the prince, shall sit in it to eat bread before Jehovah: he shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.
І Він ввів мене дорогою брами, що до півночі напроти дому, і я побачив, і ось Господній дім, повний слави, і я впав на своє обличчя.
And he brought me the way of the north gate before the house; and I beheld, and lo, the glory of Jehovah filled the house of Jehovah: and I fell upon my face.
І Господь сказав мені: Людський сину, постав у твоєму серці й поглянь твоїми очима, і послухай твоїми вухами все, що Я говорю з тобою, за всіма приписами Господнього дому і за всіма Його законами. І поставиш твоє серце на вході дому, за всіма його виходами в усіх святих.
And Jehovah said unto me, Son of man, apply thy heart, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the statutes of the house of Jehovah, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary;
І скажеш дому, що засмучує, дому Ізраїля: Так говорить Господь: Хай буде досить вам усіх ваших беззаконь, доме Ізраїля,
and say to the rebellious, to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Let it suffice you of all your abominations, O house of Israel,
щоб ви вводили чужорідних синів, необрізаних серцем і необрізаних тілом, щоби були в Моїх святих, і опоганювали їх, коли ви приносите хліби, м’ясо та кров, і переступаєте Мій завіт в усіх ваших беззаконнях,
in that ye have brought strangers, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to profane it, [even] my house, when ye offered my bread, the fat and the blood; and they have broken my covenant besides all your abominations.
і заповідаєте берегти сторожі в Моїх святих!
And ye have not kept the charge of my holy things, but have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves.
Через це так говорить Господь: Усякий чужорідний син, необрізаний серцем і необрізаний тілом, не ввійде до Мого святого з усіх чужорідних синів, що є посеред дому Ізраїля,
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: No stranger, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.
але навіть левіти, які відступили від Мене, коли зблудив Ізраїль від Мене, за своїми пожаданнями, то й вони одержать їхню неправедність.
But the Levites who went away far from me, when Israel went astray, going astray from me after their idols, they shall even bear their iniquity;
Тож вони будуть служити в Моїх святих тільки як придверники при дверях дому, і прислуговуватимуть у домі. Ті різатимуть всепалення і жертви народові, і ті стоятимуть перед народом, щоб їм служити.
but they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the house, and doing the service of the house: they shall slaughter the burnt-offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.
Тому що вони їм служили перед обличчям їхніх ідолів, і це стало для дому Ізраїля на муку неправедності, через це Я підняв на них Мою руку, — говорить Господь, —
Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and were unto the house of Israel a stumbling-block of iniquity; therefore have I lifted up my hand against them, saith the Lord Jehovah, that they shall bear their iniquity.
і вони не наближатимуться до Мене, щоб Мені служити, і щоб приходити до святого синів Ізраїля, і до Мого Святого святих, і одержать їхню непошану через відхилення, яким ухилилися.
And they shall not draw near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to draw near to any of my holy things, [even] to the most holy; but they shall bear their confusion, and their abominations which they have committed.
І зведуть їх стерегти сторожі дому на всі його діла і на все, що тільки чинитимуть.
And I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
Священики-левіти, сини Саддука, які зберегли сторожі Моїх святих, коли дім Ізраїля ухилився від Мене, ці приноситимуть Мені, щоб Мені служити, і стоятимуть перед Моїм обличчям, щоб Мені приносити жертву, жир і кров, — говорить Господь.
Rules for the Levites
But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall approach unto me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to present unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Ці ввійдуть до Мого святого, і ці прийдуть до Мого вівтаря, щоб Мені служити, і зберігатимуть Мої сторожі.
They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall approach unto my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
І буде, що коли вони входитимуть через брами внутрішнього двору, вони одягатимуться в льняний одяг, і не одягнуться у вовняний, коли вони служитимуть, від воріт внутрішнього двору.
And it shall come to pass when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, when they minister in the gates of the inner court, and towards the house.
І матимуть льняні клобуки на своїх головах, і матимуть льняні штани на своїх стегнах, і не підперізуватимуться візою [1].
They shall have linen tires upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird on anything that causeth sweat.
А коли вони виходитимуть до народу, до зовнішнього двору, то знімуть їхній одяг, в якому вони служать, і поставлять його у святих залах, і одягнуться в інший одяг, і не освячуватимуть народ у своєму одязі.
And when they go forth into the outer court, into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy cells; and they shall put on other garments, that they may not hallow the people with their garments.
І вони не голитимуть свої голови, і не вириватимуть їхні чуприни, неодмінно покриватимуть [2] свої голови.
Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long: they shall duly poll their heads.
І кожний священик не питиме вина, коли вони входять до внутрішнього двору.
Neither shall any priest drink wine when they enter into the inner court.
І не братимуть собі за жінку вдову чи відпущену, але тільки дівчину з насіння Ізраїля. Та якщо стане вдовою по священику, то братимуть.
And they shall not take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away; but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that is the widow of a priest.
І навчатимуть Мій народ розрізняти між святим і опоганеним, і між чистим і нечистим їм сповіщатимуть.
And they shall teach my people [the difference] between holy and profane, and cause them to discern between unclean and clean.
І ці стоятимуть над судом крові, щоб судити. Вони оправдуватимуть Моїми заповідями і судитимуть Моїми судами, і зберігатимуть Мої закони та Мої приписи в усіх Моїх святах, і святитимуть Мої суботи.
And in controversy they shall stand to judge: they shall judge it according to my judgments; and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my solemnities; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.
І на душу людини [3] не ввійдуть, щоб опоганитися, але лиш стане нечистим із-за батька, із-за матері, із-за сина, із-за дочки, із-за брата, із-за своєї сестри, яка не була за чоловіком.
And they shall come at no dead person to become unclean; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may become unclean.
І після того, як він очиститься, то відрахує собі сім днів.
And after he is cleansed, they shall count unto him seven days.
І тільки в той день вони входитимуть до внутрішнього двору, щоб служити у святому, принесуть надолуження, — говорить Господь, —
And on the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall present his sin-offering, saith the Lord Jehovah.
і буде їм у спадок. Я — їхній спадок, і їм не дасться частки серед синів Ізраїля, бо Я — їхня частка.
And it shall be unto them for an inheritance; I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel; I am their possession.
І жертви, і те, що за гріхи і за незнання, вони їстимуть, і все відлучене в Ізраїлі буде для них.
They shall eat the oblation and the sin-offering and the trespass-offering; and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.
Первоплоди всього і первородне всього, і все відділене з усіх ваших первоплодів буде для священиків. І дасте ваші первоплоди священикові, щоб покласти ваші благословення на ваші доми.
And the first of all the first-fruits of every [kind], and every heave-offering of every [kind], of all your heave-offerings, shall be for the priests; ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest on thy house.
