Повели ізраїльським синам — хай вишлють з табору кожного прокаженого, кожного з виділеннями і кожного нечистого через дотик до мертвої душі.
Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:
Вишліть таких з табору, — як чоловіка, так і жінку, — і не опоганюватимуть свої табори, в яких Я перебуваю між ними.
Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.
Так і вчинили ізраїльські сини, і вислали їх поза табір, — як Господь сказав Мойсеєві, так і зробили ізраїльські сини.
And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.
І промовив Господь до Мойсея, кажучи:
Restitution for Trespasses
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Промов до ізраїльських синів, кажучи: Чоловік чи жінка, які лише вчинять якийсь гріх стосовно людини та зовсім не звернуть уваги [1] , така душа вчинить провину.
Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
Тож нехай такий визнає гріх, який учинив, відшкодує загальну суму за провину й додасть до нього п’яту частину від того, та й поверне тому, перед ким провинився.
Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.
Якщо ж та людина не має родича, щоб відшкодувати завдані йому збитки, то втрата, яка віддається Господу, буде для священика — за винятком барана викуплення, через якого й відбудеться примирення.
But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
І кожний особливий дар з усього, що є святим в ізраїльських синів і який приноситься священикові для Господа, буде належати йому.
And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.
Освячений дар кожної людини буде належати їй. А що лише людина дасть священикові — його буде.
And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.
Звернися до ізраїльських синів і скажи їм: Чоловік — той чоловік, який підозрює, що його дружина зрадила його і, зневажаючи, знехтувала ним,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
і хтось переспав з нею, маючи статеві стосунки, та це було приховане від очей її чоловіка і збережене в таємниці, — тобто, вона заплямувала себе, але проти неї не було свідка, і вона не була схоплена,
And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
і на нього найде дух ревнощів, і ревнуватиме свою дружину, а вона справді заплямувала себе, або на нього найде дух ревнощів і він ревнуватиме свою дружину, та вона не заплямувала себе,
And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
то нехай такий чоловік приведе свою дружину до священика і за неї принесе дар — десяту частину ефи ячмінного борошна. Він не поллє на нього олії і не покладе на нього ладану, бо це є жертва ревнощів, жертва пригадування, яка нагадує гріх.
Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
І приведе її священик, і поставить її перед Господом,
And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
і візьме священик у глиняну посудину чистої, джерельної води і трохи землі, що є на долівці в наметі свідчення, і, взявши її, священик кине у воду.
And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:
І священик поставить жінку перед Господом, і відкриє голову жінки, і покладе в її руки жертву пригадування — жертву ревнощів, а в руці священика буде вода звинувачення, яка наводить це прокляття.
And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:
Тоді священик візьме в неї клятву і скаже жінці: Якщо з тобою ніхто не переспав, якщо ти, живучи зі своїм чоловіком, не зраджувала, заплямувавши себе, то будь невинною від води звинувачення, яка наводить це прокляття.
And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
Якщо ж ти, бувши за своїм чоловіком, зрадила чи заплямувала себе, і тобі дав своє ложе хтось інший, за винятком твого чоловіка, —
But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
і закляне священик жінку клятвами цього прокляття, а далі священик скаже жінці, — то нехай дасть тебе Господь на прокляття і зробить закляттям серед твого народу, щоб Господь так учинив, щоб стегно твоє відпало, а живіт твій опухнув;
Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
і ця вода, яка наводить прокляття, увійде у твоє нутро, щоб опухнув живіт і відпало твоє стегно. А жінка скаже: Нехай так буде, хай буде так.
And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
І священик запише ці клятви на сувої, і вмочить у воду звинувачення, яка наводить прокляття;
And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
і він напоїть жінку водою звинувачення, яка наводить прокляття, і ввійде в неї вода звинувачення, яка наводить прокляття.
And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
А священик візьме з руки жінки жертву ревнощів і покладе жертву перед Господом, і принесе її до жертовника;
Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
і священик візьме з жертви жменю, як частку для нагадування, і принесе її в жертву на жертовнику, а після цього напоїть жінку водою.
And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
І станеться, якщо вона заплямувала себе і приховувала від свого чоловіка, то ввійде в неї вода звинувачення, яка наводить прокляття, і роздує живіт, і її стегно відпаде, і жінка буде прокляттям серед свого народу.
And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
Якщо ж не заплямувала себе, а була чиста, — то не зазнає шкоди і буде здатна до запліднення й народження дітей.
And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
Це — закон про ревнощі у випадку, коли заміжня жінка, яка за чоловіком, учинить зраду і заплямує себе.
This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
Або коли на чоловіка найде дух ревнощів, і він ревнуватиме свою дружину, — то поставить свою дружину перед Господом, а священик учинить з нею за всім цим законом.
Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
