А Ісус погрозив йому, промовивши: Замовкни і вийди з нього!
“Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!”
Тоді затряс ним нечистий дух і, закричавши гучним голосом, вийшов з нього.
The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
І жахнулися всі, так що запитували одне одного, говорячи: Що це? Нове вчення з владою! Навіть нечистим духам наказує, і вони слухають Його!
The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching — and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.”
І враз розійшлася чутка про Нього всюди, по всій Галилейській околиці.
News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.

and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
А вставши вранці, ще вдосвіта, Він вийшов і попрямував у пустинне місце й там молився.

А Він відповів їм: Ходімо в інші місця, до сусідніх сіл [та міст], щоб і там проповідувати, адже на те Я і прийшов.
Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else — to the nearby villages — so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.”
І Він пішов, проповідуючи в їхніх синагогах по всій Галилеї та виганяючи бісів.
So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
І приходить до Нього прокажений, благає Його і, упавши на коліна, каже Йому: Якщо хочеш, Ти можеш очистити мене!
Змилосердившись, Він простягнув руку, доторкнувся до нього, та й каже йому: Хочу, — стань чистим!
І вмить зійшла з нього проказа, і він очистився.
Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.

“See that you don’t tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
А той, вийшовши, почав багато розповідати й розголошувати про ту справу, тож більше не міг Він відкрито ввійти в місто, але перебував поза містом, у безлюдних місцях, та до Нього приходили звідусіль.
Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.
