А Ґедеон послав послів до всіх околиць Єфрема, кажучи: Спустіться назустріч Мадіямові й захопіть собі воду аж до Ветвира і Йордану! І закричав кожний чоловік Єфрема, і вони першими захопили воду аж до Ветвира і Йордан.

І розіслав Гедеон послів по всіх Ефраїм-горах з наказом: “Зійдіть із гір проти мідіян і перетніть їм переправу через воду Йордану аж до Бет-Бари.” Зібралися на поклик усі ефраїмії й зайняли броди вздовж Йордану аж до Бет-Бари.

А по всіх Єфремових гора́х Гедеон послав послів, говорячи: „Зійдіть навпере́йми мідіяні́тян, і заступіть їм воду аж до Бет-Бари та Йорда́н“. І скликали всіх Єфремових людей, та й заступили воду аж до Бет-Бари та Йорда́н.

And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
